The cutting tables
of the ST- Series
Because
of the growing demand we have developed the following manually controlled
cutting tables. They are now included in our standard offer together
with our CNC- controlled hot wire cutting systems.
ST 01, ST 02, ST 03 and SW 20 are manual machines for the cutting
of Styropor and similar materials.
Circular saws and pad- saws are not suited for processing Polystyrol
hard foam. They produce undesirable shavings, worsen the cuts' quality
and endanger the security at the work place.

The cutting table
is a simple, though robust cutting device for processing Polystyrol
hard foam.
The frame is made of aluminum profiles. The working table has a
wooden surface.
The cutting with a wire heated up to 300oC guarantees clean cuts
without shavings. The machine is easy to transport, therefore it
can be used directly at different places, for instance at building
sites. The wire holder is easy to set up and take down.
The machine can also make diagonal cuts. It is very simple to change
the cutting wires.
The manual feed ranges between 60- 100cm/min.
We offer in addition a rotary plate with spring mechanism. With
this plate and the vertical wire you can cut round, respectively
cone- shaped objects.

Since
this device works at the same time with both vertical and horizontal
wires, it gives you the opportunity to cut fast and precisely. The
table can be adjusted at an angle. In this position the material
is cut on its own.
The service personnel can use the spared time more efficiently.
The wire hangers can be put in the fore part of the floor plate.
Therewith, the size of the angular table surface grows and larger
blocks of material can be processed on it unaided. The cut material
falls directly in a container. The horizontal and vertical wires
can also cut angles.
We offer in addition a mini turn table with spring mechanism. With
this plate and the vertical wire you can cut round, respectively
cone- shaped objects.

Because
of the machine's dimensions the user is able to cut up to 1, 2 m
wide panels. The standard model has a cutting height of 50 cm. Several
wires with supplemental holders can be used for a more rational
production. The base plate is swiveling so that the material slips
through because of the gravitational force. The wire tension is
obtained through a steel spring.

Fields of application
These devices can make three-
dimensional elements and structural parts. They are especially suited
for model building and decorating. The cutting tables are perfectly
suited for working with XPS foam, for instance Styrodur. The solid
wire with 0,4mm diameter can cut elements out of this thick material
very precisely. Naturally, you can work with EPS foam (Styropor)
as well.
The machines can be easily set up and then taken down. So, the
machine can be easily transported to fairs and construction sites.
