Foamcut MobilCut-Series

The machines of the MobileCut- Series are computer- controlled hot wire cutting systems for cutting exact forms and letters out of EPS and XPS hard foam and also foam rubber.
Vector data from large variety of programs are imported in our cut- preparing software “OptimPro”. The software defines the parameters for the foam cutting process. Afterwards our cutting software “FoamCut” cuts an outline automatically with a precision up to the millimeter.

At the moment, our MC- Series includes three machine types that differ from each other mainly in their cutting sizes capacity. Depending on your needs, we can offer you the corresponding solution.
All MOBILECUT- machines contain a horizontally moving work- piece table and a vertical axis to which the operating units are attached.

Operating mode

The tight wire is heated by an installed heating unit to 300oC. The high temperature melts the material even before it touches the wire. Through this operating mode a perfectly clean and precise cut is created- without needing to fix the work piece. The cutting speed ranges between 5-15 mm per second depending on the wire diameter and the material itself.

The machine is particularly suited for the cutting of graphic letters and logos. Therefore it meets perfectly the needs of interior and advertising designers. The MC- Series is very popular in the field of model building because of its exact cuts to the smallest dimensions. The machines are perfectly suited for working with XPS foam, for instance Styrodur. The solid up to 500g loadable wire with 0,1mm diameter can cut the smallest elements out of this thick material. Naturally, you can work with EPS foam (Styropor) as well.

The machines can be easily set up and then taken down. So, the machine can be easily transported to fairs and construction sites.
The machines from the Mobile Cutter Series are low-priced starting models for everybody who wants to work 3-dimensionally.
