Computer- controlled outline cutting

Our machines consist of a robust base frame of aluminum construction profile where a horizontally moving working table is placed, and a solid firm portal to which the vertically moving cutting wire is attached. Through the mechanical separation of the X- from the Y-axis we obtain a fine and precise cut.

ThE MC-SERIEs

Our machines of the MC- Series are computer-controlled hot wire cutting systems for the cutting of exact forms and letters out of EPS and XPS hard foam.
These machines have a wire length of 60 up to 80 cm (1.98 up to 2.62 feet). They are mainly used by interior designers, sign makers and model constructors. Machines of the MC-series are transportable.

		thE PROFI-SERIEs Our machines of the ProfiCut- Series differ from those of the MobileCut – Series in their cutting sizes capacity. They can cut much bigger foam blocks- up to a cutting volume of 22,5 m³ (73,80 cubic feet) depending on the model. These machines are primarily used in the building industry, for large decorations and for advertising purposes.

The POCKETCUTTER

The PocketCutter can go out on any smooth surface and forth. The wire is stretched between a moving hanger that rises and falls. Depending on the form of the movements you can cut graphic letters, logos and forms fast, easily and precisely. We recommend this mobile and especially low-priced starting model for signmakers, model constructors, interior designers and schools.

Computer- controlled outline cutting and 3D milling

The machines from the FoamCut SUPERCUT Series can be provided not only with a cutting wire but alternatively also with a milling axis. That makes possible relief engraving on the foam block surface for the first time. Because of that, forms that have been impossible to make, can now be realized.
The Cut and Mill Center( SFC) is a modified SuperCutter. It is delivered with various cutting and milling tools. Thus you receive a high-quality machine that can face any challenge.

The SC-SERIEs

With these machines you can process hard foam in various ways. The size of the machine enables the cutting of very large foam blocks. Moreover, the optional accessories open up totally new ways for working.

The Cut and Mill Center offers you a complete system that includes an outline cutter, professional milling system, rotary plate, shaping wire holders, 3D software, set up service and intensive customer training.

The SHREDDER ATS

The Schredder crushes fast ans easy left-overs of EPS or XPS foam into small pieces. The left- overs can be packed in bags and afterwards recycled. In this way new Styropor blocks can be made out of the recycled material. Stryropor left-overs are also used for improvement of the floor quality and as admixture for concrete.

The turn Table machine TT 800

The Turn Table machine is a complete system for 3-dmensional cutting of rounded symmetrical shapes such as columns, baluster and arcs out of EPS/XPS hard foam material. This machine works independently from the FoamCutting outline cutting machines of the Profi, - MC- and SC- Series.

Manual Systems

For simple tasks like panel cuts we offer easy- to- handle manual machines for various cuttings of hard foam. These low-priced machines are the right choice for the production of simple geometric elements.

		The cutting table Cutting tables ST01, ST02 and ST03 are hand- operated machines for the manifold cutting of EPS and XPS. Depending on your needs, we can offer you a corresponding solution.

The cutting wall

The cutting wall is a hand- operated panel cutter for the vertical cutting of larger foam blocks. With the help of a push- pull cable the hot wire is pulled out of a deepening in the plate to cut the placed block. The wire control is swiveling: therefore it is possible to cut in angles from 45 up to 90 degrees.

		Cutting wire Our cutting wire meets the highest quality standards. We offer round wires with different diameters for outline cutting. Our rectangular wire is an excellent choice for producing sectional wires for rotary plate usages.

Software

The delivery of a hot wire cutting system includes the software OptimPro and the software FoamCut (copyrighted). The two programs work perfectly with Windows XP.
For cutting with the FoamCutting system you need a PLT- file. You can create these PLT- files with common vector- based programs such as Corel Draw, Freehand, Signlab etc.
However, for 3- dimensional milling you need “real” 3 D- data which must be made with special 3D- software. For this purpose we distribute the software RhinoCAM and Rhinoceros which help you to model fast and easy 3D- objects.
You can create 3D-data based on photographs with the help of Photomodeller.

		OPTIM PRO This easy to handle program optimizes your vector data for cutting with hot wire. Here you can define the points on the object through which the wire runs in: the so called “Einstechfahnen”. Further, you have the opportunity to check the path of the cut in the “Pre-Flight” (the track of the cut is simulated on the screen).

FOAMCUT

FoamCut is a CNC-program designed for running the foam cutting machine. This software is needed to give out ready data to the machine and the microstep- controller.

RHINOCEROS

Rhinoceros creates, processes, analyzes and converts NURBS- round, -flat and voluminous bodies with Windows. There are no limits concerning complexity or size. Polygonal networks and point clouds are supported by Rinoceros as well.

PHOTOMODELER

PhotoModeller offers various efficient and user- friendly functions for measuring and modeling with previously unimaginable productivity. Once more the new version of the program has considerably widened the professional options for 3D- evaluation of photos.
